In article number 2000474, Yan-Qing Li, Jian-Xin Tang, and co-workers review the recent developments for constructing single-emissive-layer white organic light-emitting diodes (SEL-WOLEDs). The strategies focus on molecular design methods of single-molecule devices, energy transfer mechanisms in various multiple-molecule devices with all-fluorescence, all-phosphorescence, fluorescence-phosphorescence hybrid structures, combination exciplex emitters complementary fluorescent/delayed fluorescent/phosphorescent emitters. advantages disadvantages these structures are compared highlights issues device efficiency, color quality, operational stability.
